At Ecix, we maintain our collaboration agreement with UNICEF as a representative of the United Nations Children's Fund. Through this agreement, Ecix joins the Multiply for Children program, an initiative whose objective is to mobilize resources to support the education of the most vulnerable children in Africa.

The Sustainable Cybersecurity Pact arose in response to the growing need to unify efforts in the fight against cyber threats and promote a security culture that transcends the boundaries of each organization. Among its main objectives is the implementation of cybersecurity policies that respect human rights and protect the digital environment, aligning business operations with the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

In a decisive step toward consolidating a more secure digital environment, ECIX Tech has announced its adherence to the Sustainable Cybersecurity Pact. This agreement, promoted by leading industry entities, focuses on ensuring the responsible and ethical use of digital technologies, with the goal of protecting both companies and their customers in an increasingly complex and challenging environment.

8 pillars of action
ECIX Tech joins this pact with the aim of protecting not only data, but also the environment and society. Born from collaboration and knowledge sharing, it seeks to guide companies toward cyber-secure and sustainable operations. This pact is based on eight specific pillars of action:
- Governance, promoting responsible leadership in social, environmental and economic aspects.
- Transparency, being clear and accessible to policies and practices in the field of cybersecurity.
- Energy efficiency, implementing measures to reduce energy consumption in the systems and equipment used within the company to become carbon neutral by 2030.
- Circular economy, incorporating the circular vision of resource use and waste generation.
- Responsible management of electronic waste, adopting responsible practices to manage electronic waste generated by the service and products, thus promoting recycling.
- Collaboration and dissemination, participating in research and best practices with other companies and working groups.
- Sustainable standards, thus creating a safe and sustainable environment in the digital world.
- Supply chain collaboration, evaluating and selecting suppliers committed to sustainability.
