Definition and implementation of a comprehensive AI literacy plan
Challenge
Comply with the obligations set out in the Artificial Intelligence Regulation (RIA) regarding training and awareness, ensuring that employees who develop, use or maintain AI systems understand the fundamentals, risks and responsibilities associated with their ethical and safe use.
Approach
With the aim of fostering a culture based on the responsible use of artificial intelligence, ECIX accompanied the company in the definition and implementation of a comprehensive AI literacy plan.
The project included the creation of training materials adapted to different professional profiles —from technical roles to business areas—, addressing both basic concepts and regulatory implications and governance aspects.
The plan combined in-person and virtual sessions with interactive digital resources and case studies. Furthermore, a modular model was structured to adapt the content to the technological maturity of each area, ensuring a consistent understanding applicable throughout the organization.
Results
Thanks to this initiative, the company strengthened its internal capabilities and ensured that the teams involved understood the obligations and best practices derived from the RIA.
The program helped to unify the level of knowledge among the different business units and consolidate a solid foundation for the safe, transparent, and ethical use of AI.
Continuous updating mechanisms were also established to ensure the sustainability of learning, integrating training as a key pillar within the overall technology governance strategy.
